Xiaoyi City, Shanxi Province, Beijing Tianhai Zhi 100MW Energy Storage Frequency Regulation Power Station Project

The Xiaoyi City, Shanxi Province, Beijing Tianhai Zhi 100MW Energy Storage Frequency Regulation Power Station Project utilizes a combination of 50MW/50MWh lithium iron phosphate energy storage + 50MW/8MWh flywheel energy storage, with a planned land area of approximately 50 acres and a total investment of around 470 million RMB.

A 220kV boosting substation will be constructed along with a 100MW energy storage system planned to be connected to the 35kV side of the substation via five 35kV energy storage feeder lines. The project is scheduled to be grid-connected and operational by August 2025, participating in grid peak shaving and frequency regulation ancillary services.
