Shanxi Yuncheng Economic and Technological Development Zone 200MW Independent Hybrid Energy Storage Power Station Project

The Shanxi Yuncheng Economic and Technological Development Zone 200MW Independent Hybrid Energy Storage Power Station Project uses a combination of 150MW/300MWh lithium iron phosphate energy storage + 50MW/2.25MWh flywheel energy storage, covering an area of 50 acres, with a total investment of 700-800 million RMB.
 
The project started construction in November 2024, with the 50MW flywheel energy storage system installed and in place by June 2025. It is planned to be connected to the grid and operational by October 2025, participating in grid peak shaving and frequency regulation ancillary services.
