( abbreviated as 'Honghui Energy' ) Together with Datang East China Electric Power Research Institute, we witnessed another milestone in the field of new energy milestone event — actively supporting grid-forming microgrid successfully completed 72 hours trial operation!
At 12:18 on March 11, 2025, Datang East China Electric Power Research Institute announced that its active support grid-forming microgrid project has successfully completed a 72-hour trial operation.

The project was led by Datang East China Electric Power Research Institute, with Honghui Energy serving as a key technical partner, providing crucial technical support. The successful completion of this trial operation marks a significant advancement in China's new power system sector.
This microgrid integrates
Flywheel energy storage, lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage, perovskite photovoltaic modules, crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules, vertical axis wind turbines, horizontal axis wind turbines, charging piles, and mobile variable load carts
It integrates diverse elements such as 'source-grid-load-storage-charge', demonstrating Honghui Energy's deep expertise in energy storage, conversion, and intelligent management.
During the 72-hour trial operation period, the project team successfully completed multiple key verifications, including cycle charging and discharging tests of flywheel energy storage and lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage, microgrid grid-connected and off-grid mode switching tests, as well as active grid-forming support of flywheel energy storage in off-grid mode, and mutual charging and discharging tests between lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage and flywheel energy storage. Test results show that All technical indicators have met or exceeded the design requirements, with the system operating stably and reliably, fully demonstrating the excellent performance of Honghui Energy's flywheel energy storage in active grid-forming support.
