From March 23 to 26, 2025, the 15th China International Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition (CIES 2025) successfully concluded at the Hangzhou International Expo Center. On March 25th, Zhao Shuai, the Marketing Deputy General Manager of Honghui Energy, delivered a keynote speech titled 'Large-scale Application Practice of Independent Energy Storage Frequency Regulation Projects' in Area C of the conference press release zone, systematically explaining the core value of flywheel energy storage in the new power system.
Technical breakthrough: Equipped with globally leading vacuum magnetic levitation bearing technology, the system energy conversion efficiency exceeds 85%;
Scenario verification: The independent energy storage frequency modulation power station in Shanxi achieves large-scale installation of flywheel energy storage, creating a world-class flywheel energy storage power station;
Economic value: Reduces the full lifecycle maintenance costs of the system and enhances the frequency regulation performance of hybrid storage systems.

III. Ecological Win-Win: Building a New Paradigm for Collaborative Development of Energy Storage Technology
During the exhibition, Honghui Energy highlighted three major strategic achievements:
▶ Technology Deepening: Launch of the new-generation intelligent flywheel control system, compatible with integrated wind-solar-energy storage scenarios;
▶ Application Expansion: Signed strategic agreements with multiple leading enterprise institutes to jointly build provincial-level energy storage frequency modulation demonstration projects;
▶ Industrial Synergy: As a core participating drafting unit, Honghui Energy's two national standards, 'Technical Specification for Flywheel Energy Storage Systems in Power Storage' and 'Technical Specification for Flywheel Energy Storage Units in Power Storage', will be officially implemented from July 1 this year.
